LISA HARPER
Rarely are the terms “hilarious storyteller” and “theological scholar” used in the same sentence, much less used to describe the same person…but Lisa Harper is anything but stereotypical! She has been lauded as a gifted communicator whose writing and speaking overflow with colorful pop culture references that connect the dots between the Bible era and modern life. Her style combines sound scriptural exposition with easy-to-relate-to anecdotes and comedic wit.

Lisa is the author of 11 books and four best-selling video based Bible studies. Yet despite her success as an author and speaker, Lisa went on to describe her greatest accomplishment to date as getting to be Missy’s mama. Because in April 2014, after a difficult two-year journey, Lisa finally got to bring her adopted daughter home from Haiti and she hasn’t stopped grinning since!

With one of those dynamic voices that immediately grabs your attention and doesn’t let go, it is no surprise that all roads led to a celebrated career in music for Laura Cooksey. An award-winning vocal major at Baylor University before making her way to Nashville after graduation, Laura has led worship for popular national conferences including Women of Faith and E-Women. Laura released an EP that hit #11 on iTunes Christian charts and has sung background for Mandisa, Nicole C. Mullen, Natalie Grant and Michael W. Smith. She even fulfilled a childhood dream of singing for Disney. Laura’s greatest joy, other than being a follower of Jesus, is to be a wife to her husband Kyle and a mom to their three adopted children.
