A song teaming that holds the promise of being a defining ‘vocal event of the year’ in contemporary Christian music finds EMI’s Rebecca St. James joining vocally in the studio with Todd Agnew on a powerful new single rendition of “Our Great God” – written by Mac Powell of Third Day – and now being added at AC Christian radio nationally.

The track will be included in Agnew’s much anticipated new album Better Questions, launching in July from INO Records.

Notes Rebecca about the duet teaming: “For me this was such a natural thing. Todd has been a real friend since we toured together about four years ago and he simply called me one day and said, ‘Hey, Rebecca—what do you think about the idea of doing a duet together?’ I was immediately into the idea and even more so when I heard the song.I have such a passion for worship—as does Todd—and working together on ‘Our Great God’ represents a wonderful outpouring of our friendship.”

Since being added to the music featured at St. James' 50,000 member strong community of MySpace friends "Our Great God" has accumulated plays nearing the 6,000 mark in little over a week.

On May 23rd, Rebecca offered the invitation for Agnew to guest and perform the song with her as a major centerpiece performance on the Gospel Music Channel’s Front Row Live, which taped St. James and her full band ensemble in an hour long concert production to be aired later this summer.

And speaking of ‘later this summer’ –following a busy June and July in the U.S. Rebecca will be Europe bound for August concerts now being finalized. Performances in Holland, Germany and Norway are set with additional concerts being added. She will be a major headliner at Holland’s Flevo Festival—one of Europe’s largest outdoor summer concert events.
