SONICFLOOd led a standing room-only crowd of over 6,500 in worship during the opening night of the NYPENN Franklin Graham Festival on June 8th. The event took place at the Binghamton University Event Center in Binghamton, NY, as part of a three-day festival.
Binghamton’s Press and Sun-Bulletin commented, “The music turned edgier when the pounding bass began for Grammy-nominated Christian rockers SONICFLOOd as they took the stage. You'd think their sound would have turned off some of the older people in the crowd. Not so. [The crowd] stood up like rock concert veterans and pumped their "rock fists" at the beckon of the lead singer, the David Bowie-esque Rick Heil.”
SONICFLOOd also had the privilege to take part in a morning devotional with popular preacher and Samaritan’s Purse CEO Franklin Graham and the Billy Graham Evangelical Association (BGEA) team.
The NYPENN festival saw over 21,000 in attendance at the BU Event Center throughout the festival, and approximately 1,500 people responded to the altar calls during the weekend.
