Sparrow recording artist Janna Long, one-fourth of Dove Award-winning vocal group Avalon, prepares to release her self-titled solo debut with what may be the most powerful and electric vocal performance of the year. Janna arrives in stores on November 5.

"I'm grateful that I've had the opportunity to fulfill a lifelong dream of recording a solo project. It has given me a chance to express myself in a new way and I pray that it will be a record that brings joy and encouragement," said Long.

To produce her solo debut, Long called upon the diverse producing talents of Brown Bannister, Mark Hammond and Anthony Michael Taylor. The result is a classic collection of urban, pop and gospel songs that are high on energy and deep with emotion. And while Janna is all about Janna, she is joined by new husband Greg Long who provides backing vocals on one of the songs.

In November and December, Long will make multiple solo promotional visits at radio and retail coinciding with the Avalon "Joy" Christmas Tour.
