With the release of their third critically acclaimed album, Reaching, LaRue is preparing to hit the tour circuit on the second-leg of the Bebo Norman Fall Circa 2002 Tour. The tour will hit 20 markets including Birmingham, AL; Lancaster, PA; Wheaton, IL among others.

“The Circa 2002 Tour is the perfect partnership of Bebo and LaRue with the college market. The tour targets the core audience LaRue specifically feels called to reach out to and will expose them to a new audience from their previous two projects.” notes Keri Turner, sr. director of marketing.

The tour, which began early September and will run through mid-December, also features Ten Shekel Shirt, as well as headliner Bebo Norman. LaRue will begin the tour on October 22 in Jackson, MS.

Building on the momentum of two prior records (LaRue and Transparent), LaRue released their third album, Reaching, on Tuesday, October 8, 2002. Produced by industry veterans Monroe Jones, Matt Bronlewee and Ken Mary, Reaching, offers a deeper side to LaRue, both lyrically and musically. Recording with their touring band for the first time helped LaRue achieve part of the sound they were looking for.

LaRue first two albums produced hits such as “Reason”, “Waiting Room” and “Jaded”. LaRue has also been featured on the covers of Campus Life, BRIO magazine and Release Magazine.
