Bobby Bishop, debut artist on Beatmart Recordings, has added new iPod technology to his website – www.bobbybishop.com. With a simple download, all of the album’s lyrics can be accessed on your iPod.

Adrian Santos of Revolt Marketing explains “Beatmart strives to be the premier label for urban, rap and hip hop in the market, and Revolt Marketing strives to bring technology to the forefront of music marketing. We want to embrace technology and not fear it, and this is just the first phase of our plans with this project.”

To access the technology, simply go to the website – www.bobbybishop.com - and click on the lyrics section. Mac users download a .sit file while PC users click on a .zip file. The files download into iTunes and then into the notes folder of your iPod.   

“I loved the idea that people would be able to easily access the lyrics from their iPod,” states Bishop. “So many of my lyrics are based on the personal experiences of the kids in my youth group. I think that being able to read something often helps you connect with the music, and this just makes it so easy for people to get a firm grasp of where I’m going with my songs.

“And as a debut artist, it’s cool to see stuff like this happen. It’s great to be on a label that thinks outside the box.”
