Vertical Music announces the release of critically acclaimed musician Lincoln Brewster’s fourth worship project, All To You…Live.

The CD and companion resources, which include CD tracks, an orchestration, a songbook, a Worship Leader Assistant CD-ROM songbook and a Vertical Music Worship Tools DVD, will be available in stores on August 30.

“This is the first time I’ve ever done a live record, and I’m really happy with the outcome,” Brewster said. “Sonically it sounds great, but more importantly, I think you can feel the heart and spirit of that night, those moments when we all found ourselves extremely moved…It was a real ‘God’ night.”

Brewster recorded All To You… Live, which he also produced, at Bayside Church in Granite Bay, Calif., where he serves as worship pastor. The project includes a bonus disc containing chord charts for four songs (Majestic/Love The Lord/ You Are The One/For These Reasons), video footage, studio-recorded versions of three songs and a sample of Vertical Music Worship Tools. The 13-track CD contains 75 minutes of live worship music including a haunting rendition of “Another Hallelujah,” a worship-infused version of the Leonard Cohen favorite “Hallelujah.”

Brewster’s phenomenal guitar skills paired with dynamic live performances have created a dedicated following. According to Vertical Music A&R Manager Jeff Quimby, All To You…Live will not disappoint fans.

“Lincoln blends congregational and relevant styles of contemporary worship while maintaining a high dose of quality musicianship,” Quimby says. “This will be a favorite worship project among guitar players and worship leaders who are looking for more than your typical live worship CD and it will be considered a must-have for all worship music consumers.”

Music is in Brewster’s blood and has been an integral part of his life since early childhood. His mother, an accomplished musician, introduced him to the mandolin at age five. He quickly mastered the instrument and began playing alongside his mother for cruise ship tourists in his hometown of Fairbanks, Alaska. However, it was the electric guitar that truly caught his heart. Brewster recalls, “it was over,” after touching his first electric guitar amp at age 9.

That love and natural gift for the guitar landed him a gig with mainstream rocker Steve Perry and led to offers from secular rock labels all before he was 21. Brewster, however, had made a commitment to Christ during that time and instead took take a position at his local church as a sound technician. He remained faithful at that church, eventually taking on youth leadership and worship leadership responsibilities. Years later, he crossed paths with Vertical Music, finding a label home that allowed him to record the modern, rock-tinged worship for which he has become known. Since signing with Vertical, Brewster released a self-titled debut, Live To Worship and Amazed, all of which received critical acclaim. He also began touring alone and with Christian artists such as Michael W. Smith, Mark Schultz and Third Day.

In addition to serving as Bayside’s worship pastor, the husband and father of two also currently serves as a worship music instructor at seminars throughout the country.

All to You…Live will be released on August 30 and will be available to Christian retail stores through Provident-Integrity Distribution and to general market outlets through Epic/Sony-BMG.
