2005 has been the year of the Chariot. The road warriors from the South have barely even seen their homes since the release of their 2004 debut album, “Everything Is Alive, Everything Is Breathing, Nothing Is Dead and Nothing Is Bleeding .” With 10 songs as complex as their titles, and a relentless tour schedule, critics like Alternative Press declared that the Chariot had “rightfully earned the hype and anticipation that preceded them.”

As a follow-up to “Everything Is Alive...” and a precursor to their sophomore Solid State Records’ release due late next year, the Chariot are releasing a brand new EP. Set to hit stores December 6th, the “UnSung EP” will include two brand new tracks and four re-written and re-recorded songs off their debut full-length. As an added feature, the EP is also enhanced with a live performance from the Masquerade in Atlanta, Georgia.

In support of both their full-length and upcoming EP, the Chariot are continuing their nationwide trek following their most recent dates with Every Time I Die. “The Slightly Out Of Control Tour” will include openers Evergreen Terrace, labelmates As Cities Burn and Underminded.
