*CeCe Winans helped announce the nominations for the 48th Annual GRAMMY Awards today at Gotham Hall in New York City. Sharing the hosting duties with Winans were Natasha Bedingfield, Big & Rich, Mariah Carey, Chad Kroeger (Nickelback), Patti LaBelle, John Legend, Carly Simon, and Sway. The 48th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Staples Center in Los Angeles and once again will be broadcast live in high-definition TV and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 8 – 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).
*Adding to Winan’s morning were three new GRAMMY nominations listed below. Winans took home the Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album GRAMMY for CeCe Winans in 2001 and in 1996 for Andrae Crouch (Various Artists). In 1995, she won Best Contemporary Soul Gospel Album, “Alone In His Presence”, as well as in 1991 for “Different Lifestyles” as BeBe & CeCe Winans. In 1989 Winans won Best Gospel Vocal Performance/Female for the single “Don’t Cry”, and in 1987 for. “For Always”
