Tooth & Nail Records is proud to announce plans for the second-ever Tooth & Nail Tour running this March – April 2006. This year’s line-up includes dual headliners Emery and Anberlin with Far-Less and The Fold splitting legs as support. Featured guests, and new faces to the label, The Classic Crime and Jonezetta will also join the entire tour.
As a follow-up to 2004’s highly successful stream of sold-out performances which featured bands like mewithoutYou, Emery, and Anberlin, the 2006 Tour has evolved to even surpass the previous tour’s expectations.
“The inaugural Tooth & Nail Tour in 2004 was the start of something very special here at Tooth & Nail,” explains Tooth & Nail Director of Marketing, John Frazier. “Since then, the label has grown by leaps and bounds and this year’s Tooth & Nail Tour will prove be bigger, better, and more exciting than ever! Not only are Emery and Anberlin among the who’s who of rock bands today, but the new breed of bands on the tour – Far-Less, The Fold, The Classic Crime, and Jonezetta, are already poised to be your new favorite band.”
With sponsorships already ranging from PureVolume.com to FYE ,Gibson guitars, and Truth drums, the Tooth & Nail Tour is set to raise the bar on the concert experience, adding a new realm of technology for fans. This year’s tour will feature a “Tooth & Nail Tour Digital Sampler” in conjunction with Purevolume.com. From now until June 1st, the sampler will be promoted through the Pure Volume site where fans can hear and download over 20 free songs from Tooth & Nail artists, not only on the tour, but on the entire roster as well.

The Tooth & Nail Tour official send-off will begin March 16th at SXSW with the label’s showcase in Austin, TX. Taking place at Redrum Annex (401 Sabine St), the line-up will feature: Emery, Anberlin, Far-Less, The Fold, Jonezetta, and The Classic Crime. Official times and ticket information will become available shortly.
Boasting over 12 years of quality music to the masses, Tooth & Nail has been a launching pad for bands like Underoath, Further Seems Forever, and Mae. This year, with new releases expected from Underoath, mewithoutYou, and newcomers, The Classic Crime and Jonezetta, amongst others, 2006 looks to already be one of the label’s best.
