*Chonda Pierce returns to the comedy stage on March 28th with the release of her most candid DVD to date, A Piece Of My Mind. In support of the DVD, her current tour, new website, and turning a year older, Pierce is celebrating with an online birthday bash:

** About A PIECE OF MY MIND: Filmed in her hometown of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Pierce felt comfortable sharing her recent bout with depression alongside her always humorous take on the wacky world of womanhood. Sprinkled throughout the show are several musical numbers, which includes a 60-piece choir. “Music has always been the parenthesis for what I’m talking about,” Pierce grins. “This time we taped this project at my home church and an entire choir helped put the last parenthesis on the night!”

** About the TOUR: Pierce is currently on the road promoting her new DVD, appearing at her own concerts across the nation in such markets as Dallas, Tulsa, Little Rock, Cincinnati, Lakeland, Ft. Wayne and Kansas City. She is also performing at numerous Women of Faith conferences, where Pierce has been the most requested guest in the conference’s history. A comedy radio special is also being serviced to thousands of Christian radio stations nationwide.

** About CHONDA: With an audience of over 2 million and 5 gold-certified videos, 8 books, and making numerous television appearances, Pierce has been wowing audiences across the country appearing with Billy Graham, The Gaithers, and even on stage at the Grand Ole Opry.
