New RKT modern rock band The Turning celebrated the street day for debut CD, Learning to Lose, with a concert last night sponsored by Bowling Green, KY station WCVK. In addition to the band's strong summer touring schedule, The Turning is picking up momentum in a number of different arenas:

● Debut radio single "Out of My Hands" added to KLOVE Music Network last week and song was recently picked as a Jon Rivers Future Favorite on 20 the Countdown!
● Video for "Out of My Hands" reigns as the No. 1 most played video on the Gospel Music Channel for fifth week in a row! The Turning will perform next week, along with Aaron Shust, FFH and Audio Adrenaline, at RiverBend Festival 2006 to celebrate GMC's recent addition to Comcast Chattanooga.
● Band to join By the Tree for an August/September back-to-school tour
