S/R/E Recordings band DISCIPLE will be hitting the road once again this fall in promotion of their upcoming new album, Scars Remain, which hits stores nationwide on November 7th. They will be headlining the “Still Rising Tour” and bringing along the rock out sounds of Red and Grand Prize with them. This seasoned rock-n-roll band of four Tennessee natives fuses together heavy guitar riffs and lyrically strong choruses forming a message for today’s young generation.

This album follows the band’s previous success with six No. 1 rock hits, four Dove nominations, and their independent project Back Again (2003), selling more than 35,000 copies. In the February 2005 issue of CCM Magazine Reader’s Poll, Disciple was runner-up in the “Favorite Indie Artist” category. Disciple is composed of Kevin Young (Lead Vocals), Brad Noah (Guitars), Tim Barrett (Drums), and Joey Fife (Bass).

Disciple will be distributed both in the mainstream and CBA markets by S/R/E, partnering with Columbia Records.

The “Still Rising Tour” also features bands Red and Grand Prize. Essential Records band Red — is on the road promoting their debut album, End of Silence. Alternative rockers, Grand Prize, joins the tour with tunes reminiscent of U2, Pearl Jam, and Matchbox 20.
