Arkansas Big Buzz Chili Cook Off

RULES
1.Chili must be cooked on site the day of the cookoff. All Chili must be prepared in the open and be viewable to judges. All teams must be registered and checked in by 8am on 1/22/11
2. One Chili per cook team. Each team captain is responsible for preparing one pot of chili that he or she intends to submit for judging, and turning in one judging cup from that pot. No more than one judging sample may be taken from any one pot.
3. Each team can consist of as many people as you see fit, however each team will be provided 4 weekend passes to Arkansas Big Buck Classic. Any team members beyond the initial 4 will be required to pay to gain entry to Arkansas Big Buck Classic and the Chili Cookoff area. NO EXCEPTIONS!
4. Cooking will begin at 8am on 1/22/11 you will need to turn in your judges cup by 1pm the same day.
5. You are responsible for all cooking supplies (Heat source, pots, cutting board, knives, water, spoons, can openers, paper towels, etc. etc) don’t forget a table and chairs! You will have a 10’ x 10’ area to work in.
6. Chili will be judged in a blind taste test. Judges will judge chili based on the following criteria. Aroma, Appearance, Taste, and Aftertaste.
7. Remember this is for a great cause, have fun, and feel good knowing that you’re helping to make a wish come true for an awesome child!
