Concert Under the Stars
Doors open at 6:00 pm
Concert Under the Stars is an outdoor concert presented by Home By Dark productions – a songwriters in the round concert.
You’ll hear the stories behind the songs and performances as real and genuine as they come, from the writers themselves. On this night, Georgia’s own James Casto is joined by former Kansas band member and #1 CCM songwriter, Michael Gleason and Dove Award nominated,Jill DeZwaan. NYC saxophonist Matt Blanchard (David Letterman Show, Lincoln Center, etc) and B3/Accordion/Piano extraordinaire Jim Hettinger sit in with the writers.
Reserve a table or bring your own lawn chair. Table theme is Tailgate Party. Dress your table in your favorite team’s colors and logo. Prizes to the top 3 tables. Seating will begin at 6 pm Friday evening.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds will go to RUMC’s Job Networking Ministry.
