In what could be one of the final events at the historic Astra Theatre before it shuts down for a major infrastructure and external face lift, nationally-touring artists The Way Down Wanderers will bring their unique harmony-laced brand of Americana, folk, and bluegrass to the Jim and Pat Thyen Performance Stage on Saturday, March 18, 2017. The box office will open at 5:30 p.m., doors at 6 p.m., opening act Brother, Son at 7 p.m., and The Way Down Wanderers will take the stage at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $12.95 for general admission seats and $25.95 for VIP. The VIP ticket package includes a pre-show meet and greet with The Way Down Wanderers at Brew (free finger foods, cash bar), reserved VIP parking at the Matrix Integration lot, reserved VIP seating closest to the stage, and a free drink voucher good for Pepsi products or beer at the Astra.

For a limited time, the code ASTRA1 will deduct $2 per general admission OR VIP ticket. The code will expire on Monday, February 27, 2017.

About the opener: Brother, Son is a southern Indiana folk/American trio. Their honest melodies and soulful sound bring a unique feel to the stage. Be on the lookout for their first demo, “The Prodigal EP”, soon!
