ROY FIELDS BIO
Raised as the only child of a single mother in upstate New York, Roy Fields was surrounded by ministry and music throughout his formative years. As an 11 year old boy, the Lord called Roy into the ministry and at that moment Roy knew this is what he would do for the rest of his life. "I always had a desire to lead people in worship," Roy says, "I love it when people get caught up in worship. There are times when we are worshipping that I sense his approval-and that's what it's about- doing what is pleasing to the Lord. It's during these intimate times with the Lord that people's lives are being transformed."

Looking back on his early days as a budding musician and worship leader, Roy is still amazed by the orchestrating hand that God carefully prepared him for his current position. "I had no idea how far and where the Lord would take me in this journey, especially knowing some of the hardships that I encountered as a youth. But, I realize that there is no limit with God.” In the winter of 1995, at the age of 18, Roy went on a mission's trip to Africa. He traveled abroad to Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, & Zambia. There he ministered in several villages and cities. While ministering at a school of 1000 students Roy found himself without a guitar or piano, the instruments he was accustom to leading worship with. Using only his voice he began to worship. As he leads the students in worship, signs, wonders and miracles followed. This experience changed Roy’s life forever.

Roy married his wife Melanie in 1999. Roy and his wife stepped out into fulltime ministry in the summer of 2005. Completely sold out to God, Roy and Melanie moved out of their house and gave up everything. After traveling for close to 4 years up and down the east coast of America from Maine to Florida, Roy found himself in Lakeland, Florida in the summer of 2008 ministering to a global audience of over 1 million viewers by way of the Internet and television as well as over one hundred thousand people attending those meetings. In just 7 years over 100,000 copies of his music albums WE ARE THE GENERATION and LESS OF ME have been released to the public.

Roy has appeared on several Christian television and radio programs such as TBN, GOD TV, DAYSTAR, LESEA BROADCASTING, TCT, 700 CLUB, CTN, and BBC RADIO speaking on the subject of revival and worship. Fields and his team have ministered in several countries around the world holding revival meetings sometimes months at a time in one country. Roy and his wife along with their two children are still traveling globally to the nations and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through worship.
