The APO welcomes the return of Concert Cellist and Recording Artist, Allison Eldredge. She is a recipient of the coveted Avery Fisher Career Grant, and has been named by Musical America as “Young Artist of the Year.” Ms. Eldredge will perform the Grammy-award winning Tales of Hemingway Concerto for Cello and Orchestra recently written by American composer Michael Daugherty. Program to include Mozart “Overture” from Abduction from the Seraglio, Ravel “Pavane pour une infante défunte,” Korngold “Much Ado About Nothing Suite, Op. 11,” and Daugherty “Tales of Hemingway for Cello and Orchestra.”

NEW THIS YEAR! The Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra welcomes the entire family to experience live, orchestral music but we understand how hard it is for our youngest fans to sit through an entire concert. Therefore, we have created the Classical Kid's Club! Our very own "Teaching Artists" will welcome our young fans to learn about the composers and compositions that are being performed in a fun, learning environment where they can be a kid. The $5 student ticket will include a reserved seat for the concert and access to be checked in and/or out of the Classical Kid's Club. The Club will be available one hour before the concert begins until the end of the concert.

Other special events (not included in regular season):
