Mitchel McVicker's career began in 1996 and has spanned 2100 concerts in 49 states and 13 countries, 11 albums and 2 DVDs, and a song and an appearance as himself in the move "Ragamuffin".

McVicker's vocational musical journey began by working with the late, great Rich Mullins. The two performed concerts and wrote songs together. They were roommates. Shortly after a car wreck that killed Rich and badly injured Mitchell, the two were awarded the GMA Dove Award for the song "My Deliverer" while Mitchell was still deep in a lengthy and difficult recovery period.

After his recovery, Mitchell continued his musical career, influenced by Rich in music and thought, yet with his own distinct voice and style.

Mitchell McVicker's concert is a little bit Mark Twain meets MacGyver. His quirky and inventive approach includes insightful song lyrics, unconventional instruments, and profound storytelling. His concert connects the everyday with the otherworldly.

More on Mitchell McVicker:
"I started out by traveling, writing songs, doing concerts, and being roommates with Rich Mullins. I was in a the car wreck that killed Rich. My recovery was touch-and-go and very extensive. This was a significant event in my life and a big way I have come to experience the Lord's faithfulness. I try to communicate this in the concerts I am now able to do."

"My goal is to do concerts that point people beyond themselves and towards Jesus."

"...I share my faith experiences and how we are all trying to respond to God's showered grace. It is my attempt to communicate and emphasize Jesus's activity in all of our lives...through the practical and overlooked."
