Art of Music Festival is an annual 2 day Festival the first weekend of December in Lake Junaluska featuring some of the top bluegrass and acoustic musicians in the nation as well as musical workshops, instrument showcases and more.

Haywood County is home to Balsam Range, 2018 IBMA Entertainer of the Year recipients, who launched the Art of Music Festival at Lake Junaluska in December of 2016. The two day festival has already seen the likes of Bryan Sutton, Flatt Lonesome (2016 IBMA Vocal Group of the Year), The Atlanta Pops Orchestra, Darrell Scott, Mike Sutton, and Whitewater Bluegrass Co.

Balsam Range is so fond of where they are from they often talk about it on the road at different concerts and events, peaking interest among their fans to see just what all Haywood County has to offer. With the Festival growing rapid interest among bluegrass and acoustic fans there has been talk to expand the festival beyond 3 days offering more master class instrument workshops, dancing lessons and more. We will keep you updated right here!
