KGSA Annual Knife Show 2021
The South African knifemaking scene has many different players and exhibitions that feature at least some knives, including a variety of ‘outdoor’ and ‘sporting’ type exhibitions. The annual exhibition of the Knifemakers’ Guild of Southern Africa is a yearly event held in Johannesburg. The 2021 show will be held on Saturday the 23rd of October 2021 at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and International Convention Centre. This is a one-day event only!
At the Guild Show, approximately 50 knifemakers exhibit, plus allied crafts and materials and equipment suppliers. All types of knives are usually on display, from miniatures to swords, folders to hunters, art daggers to kitchen utilities. Materials range from hi-tech steels to own forged damascus, mammoth ivory to micarta, and horn, bone and unique African hardwoods. South African knifemakers have developed a deserved reputation for quality at international shows all over the world.
There will be food and beverages on sale.
