The Thrivent Member Network invites you to an on-demand encore presentation of “Batter Up - A Virtual Evening at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.” Part of Kansas City’s historic Jazz District, it is “the world’s only museum dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich history of African-American baseball and its impact on the social advancement of America.”

Join us on the Field of Legends for an exclusive conversation with Museum President Bob Kendrick. He will share the history behind the Negro Leagues, its impact on the sport, and its connection to the civil rights movement. He’ll also share stories of some of the sport’s greatest players, including Jackie Robinson, Satchel Paige, and Buck O’Neil.
