Known in the CCM community for his ability to craft thoughtful lyrics of praise with rhythmic pop melodies, Jason Gray has been providing listeners with inspiring and uplifting music for over a decade. Through his willingness to offer compassionate honesty and authenticity, Gray has produced compelling songs that have climbed the charts and impacted global audiences.

He has toured with Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Third Day, TobyMac, and numerous others, in addition to headlining tours of his own. Audiences are able to experience not only Gray’s musical talent, but the heartfelt way he shares his gifts to support others.

The third volume of his 18-song Order Disorder Reorder LP released Oct. 23.

“Truly, truly, I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a seed; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.” —John 12:24

The human spirit is something like a muscle in that it must be pushed to its limits and torn down in order to grow. 3 words to describe this process of transformation are order, disorder, and reorder. Order is when everything is going according to our plan. We’re using all that we’ve learned so far to put our lives together with stability and security. Disorder is when our plan falls apart. We find we weren’t as in control as we thought we were and there is more we need to learn. Reminded of our vulnerability, we are broken down and opened up enough to meet with God in a profound way. Reorder is when we emerge from disorder transformed by what we learned and by having met with God in a way that changed us. We are wiser, kinder, more humble, and stronger than before.

Today’s reorder becomes tomorrow’s order, and the cycle begins again. Recognizing this helps me panic less and trust more. I wrote some songs to explore these themes and decided to release them in three volumes: “Order,” “Disorder,” and “Reorder,” giving time and space for reflecting on one part of the journey before digging into the next.

Beyond The Sea is a local band that eighteen year old Nate Layman, a native of Harrisonburg founded. He released his first single “Where the Water is Sweet” in February 2020. Later that year his friends Michael Gilbert, Jake Bowling, and local Nehemiah Paul joined the band after musical chemistry was found in the attic of one of the Young Life houses in Harrisonburg. Inspired by epic stories such as Narnia and Lord of the Rings their self-described alternative, folky, rock band strives to give people hope through songs.

In May of 2021, the band’s 13 track debut album, “The Other Side of Tomorrow,” released out into the world onto every main streaming platform. The band intends that their listeners will be inspired to sing out anthems of hope, to dream limitlessly, and to live boldly in a world that tries to contain the Truth. To stay updated on the adventures of the guys, new releases, and show dates, follow them on Instagram and Facebook (@beyondtheseaband). Their music can be found wherever you choose to stream.

Seating: This will be a "bring your own seating" outdoor concert. The grass area has a combination of level ground and a sloped area. Blankets may work best on the sloped area. We also recommend everyone wear suitable shoes :) and bring a flashlight (or phone with light).

Inclement Weather - In the event of inclement weather and Jason is unable to play outside we will move inside the church. If we move inside, seating is more limited than outside, so we will do what we can to keep it outdoors. If we have to move inside, we will seat Early Entry and VIP guests first then as many regular general admission guests next, starting with the first ticket reservations and working down the list. We will offer refunds to those that we can't accommodate.
