Songs for the Valley is excited to announce that we are hosting an evening of songs, stories, and worship with Graham Jones, Skye Peterson, and Thomas Austin! The concert will be on Friday, November 3 at Horizon Christian Fellowship in Harrisonburg, VA.

We hosted Graham, Skye, and Thomas last year and we are thrilled it is happening again this year! We expect this to be another beautiful evening together!

About the Artists:

Graham Jones - We can't wait to have Graham back in Harrisonburg again. When Graham is with us, he will be close to wrapping up the end of his Fall Tour 2023 before his last tour stop in Nashville. Graham Jones is a singer-songwriter who traces the story of the gospel with thoughtful lyrics and rich melodies. Inspired by six-string storytellers like Jon Foreman, John Mayer, and Andrew Peterson, his music is honest, joyful, and contagious with longing. His debut solo record The Story’s Still Alive (2020) explores valleys of darkness, grief, and doubt with eyes lifted up to the hope of redemption in Christ. The following year, he released his second album, Good News, Great Joy—a concept record for Advent that tells the story of Christ’s coming from Luke 1-2.Earlier this year Graham released a new single, "Grateful" and he just released "O How the Grace of God Amazes Me".

Graham serves as the worship pastor of The Fields Church and works as a musician for Texas Winds Musical Outreach. He enjoys movie scores, fantasy novels, games (video, board, and D&D), and most of all, chocolate chip cookies. He lives in Arlington, TX with his wife, Bethany, their son, Luke, and their golden retriever, Daisy.

Skye Peterson - We can't wait to have Skye Peterson back for her 4th time in Harrisonburg! When Skye is with us, she will be close to wrapping up the end of her Fall Release Tour for her album Where The Winter Was. Skye Peterson is a singer-songwriter based in Nashville, TN. Although she has been writing and recording since high school, she began her career as a musician after studying Theology and being inspired by Biblical history and hermeneutics. Now writing hymns for Getty Music and the local church, Skye is also performing her own concerts and hoping to tell the world that they are not alone and that there’s a King who’s worth singing about.

According to recent social media posts, Skye is working on new music (we can't wait to hear). In September, she is part of the Sing! Conference with Keith & Kristyn Getty. In December, she will be part of the Behold the Lamb of God tour which includes stops throughout the country and includes 2 nights at the Ryman Auditorium. Skye's first visit to Harrisonburg was in 2020 as a special guest on the Resurrection Letters Tour with her Dad, Andrew Peterson. Skye's website - https://skyepetersonmusic.com/

Thomas Austin - We can't wait to have Thomas back in Harrisonburg again! He is awesome like Graham and Skye! Thomas Austin is also a singer-songwriter. He is from a small town in Maryland and lives in Nashville. Per his website he reads a lot of C.S. Lewis, plays tennis, and "makes songs when I feel like I have something to say". This past year Thomas toured with Jervis Campbell and also just released a new song "Another Year" that will be part of his next album.
