Joel Buckner is a trailblazing songwriter, awe-inspiring singer, and a man that is all about fulfilling his purpose in life. Growing up in Columbus, Ohio, Joel began honing his God-given talent while being mentored by one of the most endowed ministers and songwriters. At the age of 13, an opportunity presented itself and Joel became a youth choir and praise team director for the Bible Way Church. In 2006, Joel took a leap of faith and moved to Nashville, Tennessee to showcase his talent in various venues. Buckner made Oasis Church in Nashville, Tennessee his home church in 2007. At Oasis Church, Joel led worship and has had the opportunity to be mentored by lead pastor Danny Chambers. In 2011, Buckner moved to Miami, Florida, to become the worship leader for South Coast Church, and currently is the Praise & Worship Leader at National Community Church in Washington, DC. In March 2009, Joel’s debut album was released, entitled I Will Live. In writing this collection, he blended his life experiences with his neo soul/acoustic style of music. His army of loyal fans is enthusiastically awaiting the release of future worship projects.
