Senator Rick Santorum was a candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in 2012. His victory in the Iowa caucuses catapulted him to frontrunner status where he ultimately won 11 states and 3 million votes during the Republican primary process. He served in the House of Representatives from 1991-1995 and in the U.S. Senate from 1995 to 2007 where he was known as one of the most successful government reformers in our history. He is the author of two books, It Takes a Family and American Patriots.

Senator Santorum is a voice for the voiceless. He wrote and championed legislation that outlawed Partial Birth Abortion as well as the “Born Alive Infants Protection Act,” the “Unborn Victims of Violence Act,” and the “Combating Autism Act” because he believes each and every individual has value and the most vulnerable in our society need to be protected.

Rick and his wife Karen have been married for 22 years and have seven children. Their daughter Isabella, who was born with a condition called Trisomy 18, was not expected to survive her first birthday. Beating all the odds, Bella has celebrated her 5th birthday and is a joyful and loving little girl. Bella’s miraculous life has only strengthened Rick and his wife Karen’s belief in the dignity of each and every life.

We hope you will join us as we hear Senator Santorum’s stirring personal testimony as he shares his heart for sanctity of human life.
